The Jennings Chapel Church of Christ is composed of a group of Christians who are seeking to live by and teach New Testament Christianity. We accept the Bible as the word of God, the New Testament as our sole standard of authority, and Jesus Christ as Lord. The church recognizes Jesus Christ as its head, and is independent of other churches. We seek to live daily as Jesus taught and be an influence for good in our varied community activities. If you are interested in learning, teaching, and doing the will of God, we invite you to be our guest.

Please join with us in our regular worship to God. We believe that all worship activities of the assembly should be in "spirit and in truth" (John 4:24) just as Jesus said. Therefore, our worship is patterened after the worship of the first century church as revealed in the New Testament. We seek to maintain a worship atmostphere that is joyous and enthusiastic but also orderly and reverent. In all our worship activities, we try to remember that we have come together to worship and please God.

It is also our aim to provide an atmosphere where spiritual growth can take place. Our members are encouraged to attend all services of the church, to be active in good works, and to live a life of love and faithfulness.  We make great efforts to "stir up love and good works...encouraging one another." (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Since "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the words of God" (Romans 10:17) our Bible teaching program is a very important part of our work. We feel strongly that both children and adults need to learn the message the Bible teaches, and our teachers make great preparation for the Bible classes each service. We are committed to helping parents in the work of guiding their children in this morally challenging society. In addition to our regular classes, special classes are held to provide additional growth opportunities. Some of these classes are groupd classes and some are individual studies. If you would be interested in an individual study, please let us know and we would be glad to set up a time and place to meet with you and study together from God's word.
